Chase Hospitality Guest Service Representative in Erie, Pennsylvania

Guest Service Representative: PLACE OF WORK: Front Desk (a focal point for all guest/visitor reception and inquiries) and Back Office areas. JOB OVERVIEW: Check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; processing all payments according to established hotel requirements. Provide information to any guest or visitor inquiry, while keeping confidentiality in mind. Position is Key guest contact person. REPORTS TO: General Manager, Front Desk Manager, Manager on Duty RELATIONSHIPS: Internal: Front Desk Staff, Front Office Management, Hotel Managers, Sales, Housekeeping, Accounting, Engineering, Breakfast Attendants External: Guests, Visitors, Tour Company Representatives, Transportation Personnel, Other Hotels SPECIFICATIONS: Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. QUALIFICIATIONS: Essential: High School graduate or equivalent. Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests/visitors, management and co-workers to their understanding, both in person and by telephone. Ability legible written communications and clear directions. Ability to complete accurate mathematical calculations. Desirable: Some college or training in the hospitality industry. Previous experience as a Guest Service Representative. Previous cashiering experience. Knowledge of computers. Fluency in a foreign language.
